With the water shortage in California many have solved their mandated reduction of 35% by cutting out the lawn. Recently we have taken out the front lawn in hopes of meeting that request. If you are from the old school and “mow the grass”, this is the chance you’ve been waiting for to “cut” mowing!
From the picture, you will see the sod removal mower and a couple rows of cut sod. Notice the pile in the driveway! The total weight in sod was nearly 6 tons!
And when the “rains” don’t come, home owners mow down the grass with a sod cutter.
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
(Psalms 72:6)
Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
(Psalms 129:7)
Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.
